A translated document must remain usable
After translation, a document may still need to be reviewed, filed, shared with a department or delivered to another system. Its structure is part of its usefulness.
ECO supports PDF-to-PDF and PDF-to-DOCX workflows, together with XLIFF, JSON, PO files, Microsoft Office and LibreOffice formats. Layout preservation depends on the original file type and complexity and should be checked during a pilot.

ECO supports different architectures for eligible functions. Deployment is agreed with your technical and security teams after assessing integrations, data flows and dependencies. MTQE remains a separate Pangeanic-hosted service from our Valencia data center; it is excluded from on-premises and air-gapped installations.

What is ECO Intelligence Platform?
ECO Intelligence Platform is Pangeanic’s enterprise platform for governed multilingual AI workflows. It connects document translation, approved-knowledge retrieval, anonymization, APIs and orchestration. Machine Translation Quality Estimation can be added as a service hosted by Pangeanic.
Can ECO run in a private cloud, on-premises or in an air-gapped environment?
Supported ECO capabilities can be deployed in private-cloud, on-premises or isolated environments, subject to technical assessment. Availability depends on the module and its dependencies. MTQE is excluded from on-premises and air-gapped deployments.
Where is Pangeanic MTQE hosted?
MTQE is available only through Pangeanic’s own cloud, operated from the Paterna data centre in Valencia, Spain. Pangeanic does not offer MTQE as an on-premises or air-gapped installation.
Which document types and formats does ECO process?
ECO can support PDF and Office document workflows, including PDF-to-PDF translation and XLIFF export. Other supported formats include JSON, PO and LibreOffice files. Formatting fidelity depends on source quality, structure and complexity.
How does ECO control machine translation quality?
ECO workflows can use rules, terminology checks and human review. Where MTQE is selected, the Pangeanic-hosted service estimates translation quality without a human reference, allowing higher-risk segments to be flagged for review.
